Goose is letting loose 'cause "Everything Must Go!" The iconic jam band will be hitting the stage for another round of shows this year. On tour, they'll be performing new hits, crowd favorites, and big surprises as they hype everyone up. After wrapping up a jam-packed tour sched, they can't help but head right onto another one. The support and cheer of every single fan means a lot. This time, a new era unfolds as the band's new album comes out in April.
On the rise, this Connecticut-based indie & psychedelic ensemble is hailed as one of the country's hottest live acts that hard rockers can't miss. Over the past few years, these fellas have made great waves across the interwebs, much to the acclaim of new fans and critics for their unique sound and astounding stage energy.
"GOOSE COULD BE YOUR NEXT FAVORITE JAM BAND — IF THEY’RE EVEN A JAM BAND," Jon Blistein wrote in a headline for a feature on Rolling Stone. Defying the notion of a jam band, Goose loves recording albums as much as they love the spontaneity of live jams. Having played sold-out shows in a bunch of arenas and at the beloved Red Rocks, these boys are well-deserving of their hard-earned reputation.
"Clearly, the live thing is the main event at this point," Rick told Rolling Stone. "But we love recording and want to keep exploring possibilities there. My hope is that, now, it’ll be a little bit more balanced. We have no intention of changing the fact that we are a live band, but we’d all love to to see the albums become something that they don’t typically become for jam bands."
Meanwhile, UPROXX calls them "The Next Great American Jam Band." Making music under their own terms, these fellas are rocking it out in the hardest-hitting way possible. It flows through their veins. From gigs in Connecticut down to national tours, UPROXX talks about their "surging drawing power as a live act." Many outlets including The New York Times have shared how Goose is one of the hottest rising acts today. Scoring a gig on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, they're just getting bigger and bigger.
About their upcoming release, "The idea was to throw everything at this project. To wipe the slate clean," Rick said. Letting go of control , all they gotta do is rock out.
