The Terapia Tour, which will visit locations across the US mainland from August 4, 2023, to November 12, 2023, has been announced by Ivan Cornejo. The singer's last tour, the Danado Tour, which ended on February 19, 2023, is a prequel to this one. The recently announced tour will provide fans who missed the singer's previous tour another opportunity to watch her perform live and will help the singer's album maintain momentum.
“The last time I had the opportunity to perform for my fans my sound was more acoustic, and the venues were smaller and more intimate,” Cornejo said. “Now I’m exploring new and more sounds for my performances. I’m taking my tour across all corners of the U.S. I'm especially excited for the festivals like Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza. This tour will be my new form of ‘therapy.’”
Since releasing his breakthrough hit "Está Dañada" in 2021, Cornejo has grown to become one of the genre's most-streamed musicians. Jhayco jumped on a remix of the song later that year. Becky G is collaborating with Cornejo on her upcoming album of regional Mexican music in the wake of the Dañado album's enormous success last year.
In the US, Cornejo is currently the second-most popular regional Mexican musician and one of the top 10 Latin artists overall. In addition to having over 1.1 billion streams overall, he was one of the artists with the most nominations at the Premio Lo Nuestro in his year, receiving six nominations. He also won "Debut Artist of The Year" and "Regional Mexican Album Of The Year" at the 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards, securing his place among the most promising newcomers in music.
