Aloha Arizona! What’s up, Phoenix! The summer is finally fading away, and don’t we all just want to Cool Down with our best friends and Dream Girl at some of our favorite shows of the year? We know we do - and we’re hoping you want to, too! We’ll hear our favorite band play our Heartstrings and their guitar strings, learn about What Aloha Means, throw our arms up in the air and scream - This Is The Life! Okay, maybe it won’t be that dramatic - but at a Kolohe Kai concert, every normal Wednesday can feel like Paradise, don’t you agree?
This September on Wednesday the 10th, Kolohe Kai, the sweetest Hawaiian reggae band we’ve ever heard, is coming to town for a special one night show on their 2025 What Aloha Means Summer Tour - and we want you right here in the crowd with us!
Tickets are now on sale and starting at $61 for the night’s luau. And if you’ve ever heard the band before or seen one of their live shows - you know how magical and healing they can be, especially after all the fiery Phoenix summer days! So you’re going to want to catch this one, and bring a friend too! And we’ll see you soon!
The Arizona Financial Theatre, located right in the middle of Phoenix and known for bringing some of the most eclectic and diverse lineups of artists to town, is so excited to welcome the Kolohe Kai crew to the city for a once in a lifetime performance for all us west coast desert folk. Coming to the theatre on Wednesday September 10th, their 2025 Summer Tour will be in support of their upcoming album (for which their newest song “What Aloha Means” is featured on), and will see the band hit fifteen dates across the mainland. These shows will include opening acts from I Am Tongi and Fia, and will see the groups hit spaces like The House Of Blues Chicago, Irving Plaza in New York City, Reggae Rise Up Festival in Oregon, Ventura Music Hall in California, Gallagher Square, and of course - right here in Phoenix at The Financial Theatre.
Kolohe Kai, made up of De Peralta and Jasmine Moikeha (vocals), Kolomona Ku on the keyboard, Imua Garza on guitar, Kahale Morales on the bass, and drummer Luke Daddario was created in Oahu Hawaii in 2009. They all met in polynesian music class at their high school on the island back in the early 2000s, and signed a deal immediately after graduating. Their name literally means “water rascals”, and is emblematic of their laid back nature and beach tunes found all throughout their discography. Well, the waterboys grew up big time - and now are making chill reggae hits for the masses, and touring around the world for thousands of screaming and jamming fans on the daily. They’ve toured in the Philippines, Australia, every island of Hawaii, and now - are taking on the states once again before their next album this summer. Their music is 100% reggae and 1000% polynesian, with positive energetic messages found all throughout their songs. They inspire with their lyrics, and if you haven’t seen them live ever before - check out the video we linked below to get an idea of what to expect!
We can’t wait to see you here at the Financial Theatre this September! Grab your tickets today, right now, and bring a friend along too! And let’s jam!
