Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees smashed into the music scene in 1979 with the critically acclaimed cover of The Kinks' "Stop Your Sobbing", shortly after that, they topped the charts with "Kid" and "Brass In Pocket". Their self-titled debut album, released in 1980, has been named one of the best debut albums of all time by Rolling Stone. The Pretenders produced countless hits, from “Message Of Love” and “Don’t Get Me Wrong” to “My Baby” and “I’ll Stand By You”, among others.
The Pretenders’ latest album, "Relentless", is the second songwriting collaboration between Chrissie Hynde and lead guitarist James Walbourne, spawning bangers such as “Losing My Sense of Taste” and “I Think About You Daily”.
