Northern Ireland's Two Door Cinema Club blends guitar-based post-punk hooks with a dancey, electronic gloss. In 2010, the talented trio first gained recognition with Tourist History and catchy singles like "Something Good Can Work" and "Undercover Martyn." The mixtape peaked at number one on the Irish independent albums chart and starred on the BBC Sound of 2010 poll. Two Door Cinema Club continued to make noise, landing in the esteemed Top 20 of the Billboard 200 charts with Beacon in 2012 and playing with Giorgio Moroder-esque disco and synth pop on Gameshow in 2016. That popular record also hit the U.K. Top Ten charts and laid foundations for the new wave-inspired False Alarm in 2019 and Keep On Smiling in 2022.
