Twilight is coming. Vampire Weekend surprised fans after announcing their massive “Only God Was Above Us Tour” following the recently release album after half a decade. Produced by Live Nation Entertainment, the trio Ezra Koenig, Chris Baio, and Chris Tomson will embark on 42 shows across North America, including a hitch at Arizona Federal Theatre, Phoenix, AZ, on July 9th. Showing support to the Grammy award-winning artists is the one and only LA LOM.
The “Only God Was Above Us” was recorded all over the world, from Manhattan to LA to London and Japan, to get that 20th-century New York City setting, accompanied by high-concept music videos that define a bold stylistic transformation filmed by photographer Steven Siegel. The album has a 47-minute length with a lyrical and melodic 10-track record on the list with “Capricorn” and “Gen-X Cops,” two lead singles that became fans' early favorites after the release.

Featuring guitarist Zac Sokolow, bassist Jake Faulkner, and percussionist Nicholas Baker, who harness the nostalgia of cumbia music.
